# [[Subclass Reimagined - Rogue, Phantom]] The purpose is to front load the subclass abilities and shuffle around some of the mechanics and redesign the subclass to be more appealing for the players to choose. ###### Create Soul Coin [Rogue 3] [Reaction, 30ft. Vision] At 3rd level, You are able to snatch a soul fragment from those who die around you. The soul coin looks like a silver coin fits in your palm with one side showing the recently departed creature's face and a symbol that would represent the creature. You may able to create a Soul Coin as a *Reaction* when a creature within 30 ft that you can see dies. You can have maximum number of Soul Coins equal to your Rogue level and cannot create more than your maximum. You can use Soul Coins in the following ways: - Deathknell [*Bonus Action*]. you expand a Soul Coin and mark a single living creature within 30ft you can see with Deathknell and you are able to deal sneak attack even without meeting its requirements as necrotic damage. If the marked creature dies you may claim its Soul Coin or transfer the Deathknell to another living creature. Only a single creature can be marked this way and if you use this feature again on a different target, the previous deathknell is removed. - Ghostwalk [*Bonus Action*]. you expand a Soul Coin and able to become ethereal for 1 minute or 10 turns. You are immune to poison damage and resistant to all other damage except vulnerable to Force damage. you may walk through solid objects but if you end your turn on square that is occupied, you take 1d10 force damage and shunted to a nearest unoccupied space. - Wisdom from the Dead [Bonus Action]. you expend a Soul Coin and gain proficiency in a skill or a tool for 10 minutes or advantage on a skill or tool you are already proficient with. - Soul Trade [Reaction]. You may expand a Soul Coin to grant yourself an advantage on a saving throw that will damage you. Alternatively, you may expend your Soul Coin to automatically save on a Death Saving Throw. ###### Improved Deathknell [Rogue 9] You may select one from the following: - Deathknell Wail: your deathknell damage deal half of its damage to creatures within 20 ft from the marked. You can select number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus. - Deathknell Spiral: If the marked has less than full health, increase your damage dice by one category, from d6 to d8. ###### Improved Gostwalk [Rogue 13] You may select one from the following: - Ghastly Ghostwalk: When you walk through a living creature, you deal half of your sneak attack as necrotic damage. If the creature is marked with Deathknell, it takes full damage instead. This triggers once per creature. - Swift Ghostwalk: you gain +10 ft to your movement and flying while ghostwalking. ###### Phantom Master [Rogue 17] - Soul Harvest [*Bonus Action*]. You expand a Soul Coin on a target with Deathknell and deal sneak attack damage as necrotic damage. If you have Deathknell Wail, it deals full damage to nearby creatures. If you have Deathknell Spiral, increase the damage dice to d12 if the creature has less than full health. - Dead Vision [Passive]. You gain bonus to all checks equal to one third of Soul Coins you carry, rounded down. The dead whispers you to what will happen in the immediate future. - Soul Collector [Passive]. At the end of a long rest, you gain Soul Coins equal to your Proficiency bonus.
